The location was fantastic, just across the street from the train station and within walking distance of the town center. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always with a smile on their faces. They were also very helpful in providing information about local attractions and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay. The free Wi-Fi in the room was a great convenience, especially for keeping the kids entertained. And the best part was the free bottle of wine that came with the room, a nice touch that added to our enjoyable experience.
For families with children, my kids wished there was a children's play area or a designated space where they could have some fun and burn off their energy. It would have been a great addition to the hotel and would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

20 metres from the central station (very practical for those with big luggage)clean rooms, friendly personnel, big breakfast (usual bread rolls, jam, coffee, tee, but also ham, cheese, croissants), totally accessible to wheelchairs (bathroom included, I don't know if in every room)
Not enough light in the room, impossible to read at night, and pillow ridiculously big so very uncomfortable, basic furniture, also my reservation was for a double standard room for the same price as a simple, (which I found strange), but I've been given a simple

The location is mind-blowing, right next to the train station but still quiet and peaceful. The staff are super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room is jaw-droppingly clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, like free wi-fi and a flat-screen TV. The breakfast is superb, with a delicious spread of options. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary small bottle of wine in our room. our stay was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very central with a decent breakfast. The rooms and the bathrooms are a little run down but a good size and clean.

The hotel is fantastic located just across the street from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by train. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the attention to detail with the complimentary bottle of wine waiting in the room. The breakfast offered a range of local products and the coffee was superb.
No negative aspect mentioned.

Right across from the train station...and the area around this train station is quite and well maintained. There are several restaurants available. There is a large supermarket just around the corner above the Burger King. The hotel is at an equal distance (10-minute walk) from both the Porta Nigra up one major road and the Imperial Baths/Ampitheater/Landesmuseum up another at 90 degree angles. Breakfast was quite good. You get a small, free bottle of Reisling when you check into the room.
I had no problems, but if you don't like to walk, you are not in the middle of the Medieval town. The reception closes at 10:30 pm but your room key will get you through the entry door. Hotel lists amex card, but they only accept it for holding reservations, and do not take amex for the actual room charges when you check out: be warned.

Very nice hotel right opposite the main train station in Trier; the room is very tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed and spotlessly clean room. Breakfast is one of the best I have ever had in Germany, even including fresh authentic Italian Mozzarella cheese with tomato and basil. Complimentary Mosel Riesling wine available to all hotel guests. 10- Minutes walk to Porta Negra and other main attractions of Trier. Highly recommended and would return there again next time I visit Trier.

Reception staff were friendly, helpful and had good English language skills. I had asked to be in top floor suite but when I arrived I did not know the top floor had been converted with very narrow windows and narrow room layout. It would have been unpleasant for a 4 night stay so I asked to be moved down a floor and found the room was significantly better re: space and large windows
Despite being in a no smoking room, there was a strong smell of old cigarette smoke both in the room and in the hall. Suspect when they switched to no smoking rooms the carpets were not properly cleaned. The hotel also has a covered smoking area that is just beneath all the rooms that face out the front. Reception thought that was the problem if you left windows open. I told them it smelled when the windows were shut and smelled in the hall outside the room. Suggested a thorough cleaning of the carpets.
